The Sun: Our Eye’s Best Friend and their Worst Enemy!

Ever since the 1950s, when nuclear testing first began officially in our country, scientists have figured out that radiation was harmful to our health. And yet we walk amongst radiation every single day; it hits our skin, sometimes burning it, it dries it out and it can contribute to known diseases such as skin cancer and melanoma. However, the sun is also, at the same time, the giver of all life, and our skin does need some of the sunburst to keep its natural resiliency and flare. But there are ways to make the sun your best friend for your skin, and not its worst enemy.

Ways to Keep your Eyes Shiny and Glowing
The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin on your body. Common conditions on this thinner skin are dark eye circles, crow’s feet (wrinkles and fine lines) and puffy eyes. Many times the sun’s rays can dry out the skin around this area, cause puffiness and even dark eye circles, and especially crow’s feet. However, by protecting your skin by using SPF 30 sunscreen each day, you can best prevent the sun from causing these negative side effects.

Another helpful solution to this problem is to always remember your sun goggles (sunglasses) so that you can best protect that thin skin. And, finally, use a proven and amazing, age-defying eye cream, like Eyevive (applied daily), to help increase the circulation, hydrate the skin and combat the harmful free-radicals that cause aging.
